Ronald Rawson Obituary

RAWSON, Ronald James

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald James Rawson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, on October 30, 2022 at the age of 88 years. Ron was born on July 25, 1934 to Wilfred and Agnes Rawson in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. Ron was an avid farmer and pilot. He was active in many community organizations, including the Rosetown Lions Club, most recently, the Athabasca Lions Club where he served as Vice President. Ron touched many lives with his kind heart and endearing smile. Ron was blessed with a large and loving family. On December 5, 1956 he married the love of his life, Doris Boisvert and together they raised their three boys with love, kindness, and dedication.

Ron is survived by his soul mate, Doris Rawson; his sons Warren (Tracey), Dwayne (Tannis), and Steven (Marilyn); first daughter-in-law Dawn (Todd); his grandchildren Rachelle (Shon), Terri (Abhi), Breanne, Wade (Charisse), Cole (Silken), Scott (Faustyna), and Thomas; as well as his great-grandchildren Zayd, Halle, Emery, Zeo, Mackenzie, Emma, Meena, Olivia, and Wells. He is predeceased in death by his parents Wilfred and Agnes; Sister June; Brothers Jack, Gerald, and David.
