Robert William Mackus
Obituary
Robert was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and passed away with his family by his side in Grande Prairie, Alberta. He was only ten years old when the family moved to Alberta. After living in Slave Lake and Chisholm he settled down in Grande Prairie. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting and quadding. He also worked in the outdoors as a side boom operator building pipelines in the oilfield.
Robert was predeceased by his father Doug, sister Eleanor and both sets of grand parents. He leaves behind to morn his mother Lillian, sister Carol, and 4 nephews Chris, Ryan, Blaine and Kyle. As well as many relatives in Winnipeg.
There will be a grave side service Wed. March 22 10:00 am at the Westlock Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA, as Rob was a true dog lover.
