Futoransky, Linda Alice (Nee MacDowell)

April 30, 1944 - August 6, 2023

It is with great sadness and much love that the family of Linda Alice Futoransky of Dapp, Alberta announce her passing on August 6, 2023 at the age of 79.

She will be remembered by her beloved son, Christopher Futoransky and daughter and son-in-law, Paula Futoransky and Colin Peters, and her grandchildren Abigail Peters and Zander Peters.

Linda was predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years, Romeo Futoransky, her brother Gary MacDowell and sister-in-law Audrey MacDowell, and her parents James Archibald MacDowell and Andrea Olena MacDowell (Nee Martinusen).

Linda was generous with her time, volunteering in her community and the Westlock Palliative Care Society for many years. She will be dearly missed by her “Fluffy” friends and numerous other friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on August 14 2023, at the Dapp Community Hall, 2 Railway Ave., Dapp, Alberta.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Linda’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada at heartandstroke.ca.
