WRIGHT, Kenneth Harrison

November 23, 1939 – April 14, 2022

 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Ken Wright of Sherwood Park, Alberta on April 14, 2022 at the age of 82 years. He was surrounded his loving family. He is survived by his sisters Joan (John) & Muriel and his brothers Reg and Michael, his children Dwayne (Nikki), Gwenda (Roch), Judy (Alan), Perry (Dara), Donna (Bert), 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews Nadine, Cari (Kent), Tim (Sylvia), Michele, Cory (Christina), Shawn, Janice (Ken), Joanne (Allan), Noreen (Lyndon), Rene (Lorraine). He was predeceased by his wife Donalda, his father Fred, his sister Marion, foster sister Sheila, his sister-in-law Lynn, his two sons Raymond Dale and Randy Dean. He will be remembered as a gentle, kind, positive soul who treated everyone he met with respect and love. Ken left home when he was very young to join the army and became a photographer and projectionist. After meeting Donalda his life was complete. He was a “port in the storm” for many people and with his wife Donalda they created a life of love and kindness. He was a hard worker, a wonderful brother, husband, father, father-in-law,  and grandparent. Ken belonged to the Kingsway Legion Branch # 175.
