Helen passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023, in Slave Lake, AB, at the young age of 85 years. She is survived by her son Vance of Westlock, AB, her grandson Alex, and his family of Edmonton, AB. Helen was born in Nove Sedlo, Czech Republic and arrived in Canada with her family in 1968. She is predeceased by her son, Tomas and her parents, Marie & Josef Novotny.
