Francoise Ann Dube

It is with heavy hearts and much love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Françoise Dubé on July 10, 2023 at the age of 84 years.

Francis was a very warm, caring, and compassionate woman.  She enjoyed caring and helping others BUT her family was the most important thing in her life.

Francis is survived by her husband of 67 years, Roger Dubé of Westlock, her children:  Suzanne (David) of Kinuso, Charles (Nancy) of High Prairie, Michael (Marie) of Joussard, Peter (Cathy) of High Prairie, Simon (Darlene) of Falher; one sister Mary of Barrhead and 3 brothers, Raymond (Ann) of High Prairie, Andrew (Lorriane) of Valleyview and Real (Blue) of Driftpile.

Francis had a deep love of country music and family gatherings, she also loved gardening, quilting, knitting and was an exceptional cook.  One of her greatest joys was summer camping, year after year they camped in Joussard.  Here they socialized with friends and family.  Fishing and berry picking was also part of the camping experience.

A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date.

The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to the staff at the Pleasant View Lodge and JB Wood Continuing Care Centre in High Prairie, AB where mom spent the last three years.  Your exceptional care and support for our mother will never be forgotten.

Mom, we love you deeply.  Our hearts are hurting.  This is NOT goodbye but “so long – until we see you again”.
