Elsie Wegner

Elsie Wegner of Westlock, passed peacefully away in her sleep on March 16, 2023 at the age of 94.
Elsie, born Elsie Keding on June 22, 1928, was the daughter of the late Wilhelm Keding and Paulina Freund.
Elsie is survived by her three children: Walter (Brenda), Lillian (Glen) and Arthur (Dominique); eight grandchildren: Cindy (Leonard), Jason (Ansley), Janet (Sean), Carol (Paul), Richard (Erin), Nikolaus (Jennifer), Claire (Andrew), Andreas (Yvonne); eight great-grandchildren: Matthew, Breann, Elora, Nathan, Dylan, Emma, Addison, Benjamin and three great-great grandchildren: Olivia, Norah, Hayden, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by family and numerous friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herman; infant son, Rudy; grandson, Michael
and brother Eduard.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hedy Ganske and the late Horst Hemmerling for their friendship, support and loving kindness shown to Mom over
the years.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Westlock Trinity Lutheran Church interment followed at the Westlock Cemetery and reception was held at the Westlock Legion
