GORDON, “Dolly” Annie Elizabeth (Nee: Klassen)

February 16, 1943 – May 16, 2023

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Dolly Gordon of Dapp. Alberta on Monday, May 16, 2023 at the age of 80 years old.

Dolly will be remembered by her daughter, Kathryn (Faren), sons, Ken (Marlene), Gary (Lynn), Jay and Rob; 1 great great grandchild; 22 great grandchildren and 42 grandchildren; her sister Kathrina Klassen, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Dolly was predeceased by her loving husband of 25 years Bruce Gordon, her son Donald and daughters Lynn and Lisa, her parents Jacob & Katherina Klassen, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Dolly’s family was very important to her, she loved organizing large family gatherings at the Dapp Hall and loved visiting with all her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, all her cousins and her friends.  Dolly was always up to shenanigans and enjoyed a good laugh. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dolly’s name to Soul Sisters Memorial Foundation PO Box 6135, Westlock, AB T7P 2P7 or to Pembina North Community School  RR #1, Dapp, AB T0G 0S0. 

The family would like to send out special a thank you to the amazing staff at the Westlock Hospital on the West Wing, all of you went over and beyond for our family.  Dr. Mydeen for the care and support you provided to Dolly will always be remembered.  Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Westlock Funeral Home.  The family would also like to thank everyone for their condolences and support. It is greatly appreciated.
