Kerr, David Alexander

November 5, 1943 – April 23, 2022

 David Alexander Kerr passed away with his family by his side on April 23, 2022 at the age of 78 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years Ann, his daughters Michelle (Robert) Boychuk, Lori (Steve) North, and Daena (Doug) Seland. His eight grandchildren Jessica, Justin, Cheyanne (Nathan), Brandt, Chelsea, Chiara, Lexi, and Caitlyn. His two great grandchildren Lucas and Nahanni. Two sisters Donna Kerr, Doreen Kerr, and one brother Duane Kerr along with numerous brothers and sisters in-law and nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by his parents William and Catherine Kerr, his father and mother in-law William and Vera Synowec, three brothers Duncan Kerr, Dale Kerr, Douglas Kerr, one sister Diane Rogers, one brother in-law Laurent Marcil, and two nieces Deborah Kerr and Raquel Pilon.

David devoted his working life to the Government of Alberta with Alberta Transportation retiring after 33 years of service. Prior to that he moved quickly through the ranks in the Canadian Army Cadet Corp and was a long-standing member of the Westlock Branch of the Canadian Legion. He was a lover of nature, and history, and he really enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren when the opportunities arose.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11:30 am in the Westlock Community Hall
