Bernie Paul Sasewich

It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of our beloved Bernie Paul Sasewich on August 6, 2023. Bernie was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, leaving a lasting impact on all those fortunate enough to have known him.

Bernie’s legacy lives on through his beloved wife, Melanie, daughters Jillian (Brandin) and Hannah (David), along with his sisters, Linda, Wanda (Dennis), Debbie, as well as his brother, Ben (Dawna-Gale). He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews, not to forget his loyal four-legged fur baby, Henry.

Bernie is now reunited with his father, Fred, mother, Rose, uncle Paul, brother-in-law, Ed, in-laws, Peter and Adele, and his cherished dog, Oprah, alongside many other family members and friends.

Bernie’s absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt, and he will forever be remembered for his quick wit, remarkable sense of humor, quirky personality, and endless compassion for all. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any memorial contributions be made directly to Zoe’s Animal Shelter, the very place that united Bernie and his loyal companion, Henry.
