Lechance, Bernice Anne
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the sudden passing of Bernice Anne Lachance of Vimy, AB on Sept 24th 2021 at the age of 67.
Bernice was born on April 19th, 1954, in Westlock, Alberta, to Wesley & Irene Prazak of Tawatinaw, Alberta.
Bernice’s creative and musical talents led her to having a successful professional music career as a singer and guitarist for 25 years. This included TV and radio performances, Klondike Days and various establishments throughout Alberta, and the recording of a professional album. Bernice cherished her husband, children and grandchildren and would do anything for them. She was an amazing cook who loved to serve delicious food to her family, especially recipes from her mom and sisters. She had a very kind heart, and this led to her volunteering her time and helping others with generous donations.
Bernice will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 24 years Daniel Lachance, daughter Stacey (Kevin) Aitkin, son Aaron (Michelle) Mills; grandchildren, Dylan, Landon, Leah, and Hayden; Siblings, Shirley Sirois, George (Pat) Prazak, Celeste Money, Brenda Bilon, Perry (Margaret) Prazak, special brother-in-law Andrew Bilon, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bernice was pre-deceased by her dear brother in laws Guy Sirois and Vern Money, and brother Charlie Prazak.
