ZWARG, Jason Daron (December 11, 1972 – June 1, 2019)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jason Zwarg of Fort Assiniboine, Alberta at the age of 46 years on June 1st, 2019 in Edmonton, Alberta. Jason was raised in Fort Assiniboine and loved the farm. He attended University in Calgary and joined the Canadian Army Reserves at a young age where he became Second Lieutenant. Jason worked at the Alberta Legislature for several years serving as Director of Caucus, a job he loved. He left this to return to Fort Assiniboine to help with the family business. Jason was a very kind, thoughtful and generous person with a deep interest in world affairs and loved a good political discussion. He enjoyed sports, cooking and loved to travel. Jason was a proud supporter of Doctors Without Borders. He will forever be remembered and truly missed.
Mourning his loss, his loving mother, Sylvia Zwarg of Ft. Assiniboine; maternal grandmother Florence Storseth of Barrhead as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Zwarg, paternal grandparents Fritz & Elsie Zwarg, and his maternal grandfather, Olav Storseth. At the family’s request there will not be a funeral service at this time. Cremation has taken place and Inurnment will take place at a later date.
