Gordon Barry Carnegie was born in Westlock, AB on October 30, 1956. Gordie was the 3rd child of seven kids of Robert (Bob) & Marie Carnegie. Gordie and Mary were married on August 17th, 1985. They have two loving children – Hailie and Brett Carnegie. Gordie was a jack-of-all-trades and could build anything he envisioned. His eye for detail and creativity was amazing, and there were no simple designs in his work. Gordie also had a very strong love for the outdoors. Hunting and fishing with family and friends was a highlight of Gordie’s life. He was always up to some kind of adventure, no matter where he may have been. Gordie loved sitting around a table, or more so a fire, having a beer and clamato. He was an avid storyteller and his tales always brought laughter to those who listened. Gordie’s family and friends will always remember his kindness, sense of humour, and passion for the outdoors.
