Beverly (Bev) Jeanne Munro-Chatters
November 28, 1949 – May 26, 2019
It is with great sorrow that the Chatters family announce the passing of Beverly (Bev) Jeanne Munro Chatters on Sunday May 26, 2019 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Philip, her three sons, Byron (Trisha), Garett (Shari), Curtis (Jessica), seven grandchildren, Oliver, Isla, Ava, Abigail, Alivia, Corbin and Ben, brothers, Reginald (Jean) and Robert (Maxine) and sister Joanne (Clifford). She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews as well as cousins and great close friends.
Bev was born in Westlock, Alberta on November 28, 1949 to Stanley and Lenore Munro of Busby Alberta. She attended school in Busby and then high school in Westlock, graduating in 1969.
Bev met Philip Chatters in 1969 and they were married October 10, 1970. Bev always joked that she married a mover as the family moved several times over the coming years, from Edmonton, Calgary and Red Deer all the way south to Lethbridge and even north to Fort St John. Bev met new people and made friends easily everywhere they landed. Once you were her friend you were friends for life.
Bev will be remembered fondly and missed greatly by all that had the great opportunity to know her.
Funeral services will be held June 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Westlock Funeral Home (10004-105 St Westlock, Alberta). In lieu of flowers, donations in Bev’s name can be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
