BEAVER Ruby
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ruby Jessie Beaver (nee Meikle) on February 4, 2018.  She was born in Metis Beach, Quebec on June 24, 1944 and moved her family to Alberta in 1969. Ruby was pre-deceased by her husband William and is survived by her 3 children William (Sheila), Wayne (Rita) and Wendy (Friedrich).
Mom treasured her grandchildren Brad (Jill), Lisa (Jimmy), Kimberly (Michael), Carlee and Tara. Her great-grandchildren brought her incredible joy and include Augustus, Quinlan, Kostas, Gracie, Natalie, Mya and Barrett.
Ruby was one of 10 children and will be missed by her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Ruby had so many special friends in her life near and far, from her friends at Brookside Village, Westlock to friends and family across Canada.
Ruby was passionate about crafts and card-making. Family and friends always looked forward to her incredibly ornate and decorative creations for every occasion, from birthdays to the changing of the seasons. She was a life-long fan of Elvis, the King of Rock and Roll and more recently she was a Johnny Reid super fan.
The family would like to thank Dr. Coulson at the Westlock Hospital and the caring, hardworking medical staff at the University of Alberta Hospital. Westlock Funeral Home & Crematorium Ltd. (780-349-3474)

Our deepest sympathy Wayne, Rita and all the rest of the Beaver family on the loss of your mother and grandmother. Yes she was so proud of her family and always kept up on what they were all doing. She said she would text the grandchildren so she knew how they were all doing. I am sure there are lots of fond memories you all have of her and she will never be forgotten. We have some good memories when we took Rudy and her sister to the Johnny Reed concert in Edmonton. She certainly was a big fan of his and had went to lots of Johnny's concerts. May she Rest In Peace💕

To Ruby's family, it is with heartfelt sadness to learn of Ruby's passing.
May she rest in Peace and no longer feel any pain and discomfort. She will be missed profoundly. I got to know her through my mom Joyce, and right at that moment, I felt her genuine kindness, caring, and the beautiful lady she was. I never had to worry about mom, as I knew Ruby was there, my mom has lost a dear Family Friend. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, may Gods love comfort you at this time.
Sincerely
Valerie Larsen
