Cheryl Christina Andrusiw (Lyons)

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved wife and mother
Cheryl Andrusiw of Egremont, Alberta on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at the age of 61 years.

Cheryl will always be remembered for her love of her family and her animals.

A wife, mother, sister, dearest to her heart was her loving family: husband, Bob; son, Joshua (Crystal); sisters, Jaye Flack, Ellen (Neil) Nagel, Gayle (Bob) Halliwell, Linda (Howard) McLean,
Pat (Jim) MacBeth, Debbi (Bob Schmidt), Penny Lyons; numerous family and friends.

Cheryl is predeceased by her mother, Shirley Pearl (Jackson) and her father Maurice Munroe Lyons.

Cheryl was born in Penhold, Alberta. With her father being in the the air force, Cheryl grew up in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Lancaster Park Edmonton and Rutland, BC before moving to Edmonton where she met her husband Bob in 1976. They moved to Egremont in 1980 where Cheryl built her dream of being a farmer and sanctuary for her animals. Cheryl loved all animals and especially her cows, horses, dogs and had a very special place in her heart for her cats. No stray could be turned away and was always cared for and loved.

Cheryl will be in our hearts forever.

A private family gathering will be held remembering and celebrating Cheryl's life. In keeping with Cheryl's wishes, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cheryl's name to Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS), local SPCA, Humane Society or animal shelter.

A special thanksl to Bob Jones of Westlock Funeral Home for being there for Cheryl and the family.
