DUL, Dorothy Theresa
Dorothy Theresa Dul age 81, peacefully passed away in the presence of family on October 2nd, 2017 in Westlock, Alberta.
Dot is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Ed, their children, David, Glenn, Greg (Lynn), Dianne (John), Joe (Sandy), Sharon (Tracy), Rena (Kelly) and Scott (Leslie).  Dot and Ed have 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren that will miss grandma's hugs, kiss and cuddles. Dot's sisters Geraldine (George), Ida (Mike), Isabel, Lorraine and brother-in- law Joe Wideski will miss sharing time with her and the sound of her laughter. Her brother-in-laws Henry Dul and Ted Dul (Donna) and sister- in- laws Gladys McMartin and Joyce Dul.  Dot is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and Caroline Wierenga deserves a special thank you for always being a loving caring life long friend.  She is preceded in death by her Father Gordon Cumming, mother Ernistine Cumming, sisters Agnes Pischinger, Leona Hartung and Jacqualin Wideski, brothers Gordon Cumming and Joseph Cumming  Grandsons Rory Dul and Frank Dul, and a great grandson Prenitce Thibert. Dot was also preceded by her father-in-law John Dul, mother-in-laws Rose Dul and Kristyna Dul, brother-in-laws John Dul, Richard McMartin, William Tordiff, Sig Pischinger and sister-in-laws Dot Cumming and Francis Cumming. Dot was born on December 14, 1935 in Fort Smith, NT.  She was the nuculis of a large family and a loving mother to eight children. She married Ed Dul in  1954 and moved to the Westlock area. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cross stitching, gardening and could produce a gourmet meal from a can of spam.  Her family and friends will always remember her as a great story teller, someone who could put a smile on their face and the laugh she had that would warm their hearts.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Dot on Saturday, October 7, at 2:00 pm in Westlock at the Westlock Memorial Hall, with a reception to follow.  Marjorie Steele will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dot's life. The family would like to thank the Staff at the Westlock Continuing Care Home, Doctor Bernard all those who provided care for Dot.

Ahh, sorry to see this. Sincere condolences to Ed and the family. Dorothy was one of our farm neighbours in the Fawcett area. Wonderful lady.
